Tyler J. Crima

Tyler was born and raised in New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York. Tyler always knew he wanted to solve peoples’ problems instead of working in corporate America. After college, he went to Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. During law school, Tyler was Treasurer of the Pro Bono Board, and completed over 50 hours of pro bono work.

In many ways, Tyler started a whole new phase in his life and career. Tyler is the first lawyer in his family. He received his license in 2021 and was married two months later. He and his wife met when he was at St. Joseph College and they couldn’t wait to come to the East Coast of North Carolina and settle down. Tyler’s first legal experience was practicing family law, mainly handling custody and separation issues.

In 2022, Tyler began his career with Kellum Law Firm and practices in the area of personal injury. Tyler is excited and optimistic about his place at Kellum Law Firm. Like everyone at Kellum Law Firm, Tyler is devoted to helping people in their time of crisis. Tyler understands that hiring a lawyer can be frightening. As a lawyer he seeks to ensure that his clients know he is with them all the way and will be their guide through the legal process.

When he’s not in the office, Tyler likes to spend time with his beautiful wife and son. He is an avid foodie and enjoys cooking. When he’s not cooking up a storm, Tyler enjoys hiking and walking his dog, Stella.
